Release 19.12.3 - Final Release Notes for Healthcare Germany and Switzerland

With this release the GS1 Standard V3.0 is rolled out for Healthcare Germany.
At the same time we are pleased to introduce the Healthcare Profile for the Swiss target market.

 

The installation will take place on the following dates (TEST / PROD)

HEALTHCARE Germany and Switzerland 8 January 2020 / 13 January 2020

 

Important information - for data recipients

  • The release contains changes for the German Healthcare Profile.
  • The release includes the new healthcare profile for the Swiss target market. The content of this profile currently corresponds to the German Healthcare Profile.
  • A reload of already received data is NOT necessary after the release.
  • Interface adjustments are necessary if you want to receive new attributes. Please check whether you need to implement adjustments in mapping and the transfer of codes to your internal systems in order to ensure that all codes are complete and correct in the future.
  • The other D-A-CH target market profiles are not affected by this service release.

 

Important information – for data suppliers

  • The release contains changes for the German Healthcare Profile.
  • The release includes the new healthcare profile for the Swiss target market. The content of this profile currently corresponds to the German Healthcare Profile.
  • All set data in the master data pool remain valid - a migration of already set data is NOT necessary. However, for the German Healthcare Profile, status changes from optional to mandatory have been made for two attributes, so that attributes that have not yet been filled must be maintained to make the article(s) valid.
  • Interface adjustments are necessary if you want to transfer new attributes. If you want to deliver new codes, we recommend that you, as a machine-to-machine (M2M) supplier, check which changes are necessary in your internal systems and mapping in order to be able to deliver all codes completely and correctly in the future.
  • For Publishing / Web UI users the changes are available from the above mentioned release date. We recommend that you complete your data promptly if necessary.
  • The other D-A-CH target market profiles are not affected by this service release.

Introduction of the Healthcare Profile for the Swiss target market (HC CH):

With the Swiss Healthcare Profile you can now also reach data recipients in the Swiss target market. The profile is based on the German Healthcare Target Market Profile and will be successively expanded as required in close cooperation with the Swiss community. The HC CH profile with its attributes and their status is listed in the Profiles Overview.
