On February 26, 2020 Joachim Liepold from Hits for Hospiz e. V.to personally receive a 1.444,- € donation cheque. He thanked atrify and all employees who diligently participated in our raffle in December and thus contributed to the donation. He also gave us an insight into the work of the "Hits fürs Hospiz" initiative.
Hits fürs Hospiz is a nationwide, non-profit initiative whose main concern is the promotion of facilities for the physical and pain-therapeutic care of people in the last phase of life. This not only concerns the care of elderly people, but also the care of children and young people with incurable and life-shortening illnesses and their relatives.
We found the project "I would love to do it again" particularly impressive. Together with the Wünschebär (wish bear) - the mascot of Hits fürs Hospiz - the initiative tries to fulfil a last wish of the seriously ill. For example, a patient was given the opportunity to fly a balloon or a seriously ill mother was given the chance to spend a last weekend with her family by the sea in Holland.
For us this campaign will not be a one-time co-operation. We would like to continue supporting the initiative in the future.
