Important information - for data collectors

  • The release contains changes for all D-A-CH target market profiles
  • A reload of already received data is NOT necessary after the release
  • We recommend that you implement all changes of the release in your interfaces and internal systems as well, in order to maintain complete and correct data records in the future.
  • The XML interface description for the D-A-CH Community is available in the Download Center.

 

Important information – for data suppliers

  • The release contains changes for all D-A-CH target market profiles
  • All set data in the master data pool remain valid - a migration of already set data is NOT necessary
  • If you deliver your data machine-to-machine (M2M), we recommend that you use the XML Release Notes in the XML interface description for the D-A-CH community to check if and which changes have to be made in your interfaces and internal systems in order to be able to deliver complete and correct data in the future. This applies in particular to data providers of medical devices and suppliers who send pet food and/or organic products for the Austrian target market.

Further data quality rules: Implementation of DQG Standard 2.6 (only DE)

Release 6.11 implements further Data Quality Gate (DQG) rules for the German target market profile. Standard 2.6 contains new rules for animal and plant products, fruit and vegetables, temperature information and cosmetics. These new rules are again implemented as warnings.

All DQG rules are documented in the Profiles Overview.

Class of medical device [M486] (for FMCG DE and AT)

The following attributes are now also available in the target market profile AT:

  • Legal product category [M250] with restricted code list
  • Pet food attributes
    • Composition of feed / language [M472]
    • Analytical components of feed / language [M473].

    • Animal age for feeding / language [M441]
    • Minimum weight of animals to be fed / unit of measurement [M442].

Code List Updates / GDSN Efficient Code List (ECL) Release (FMCG and DIY only)

  • Additional accreditation labels on the packaging: Code [M310]: Update of code descriptions for codes NIX18 and ZWANGERSCHAPSLOGO (FMCG DE, AT, CH)
  • Allergen: Code [M029]: New codes from the GDSN ECL release are added (FMCG DE, CH)
  • Fish and seafood: Method of fishing [M126]: New codes from the GDSN ECL release are added (FMCG DE, AT, CH)
  • BBD on packaging: Type [M223]: New codes from the GDSN ECL release are added (FMCG DE, CH and DIY DE)

Extension of the hierarchy levels for link specifications to external files (affects all D-A-CH profiles)

From the November release on, the link information to external files, i.e. all attributes for Digital Assets Management (DAM) [also called "image data attributes"] will be possible in the D-A-CH Community not only on the basic article level as before, but now on all hierarchy levels. For example, images for trays and displays can be set and assigned to or linked to the corresponding hierarchy level.

 

Update of the Global Product Classification (GPC)

The November release also includes a GPC update to the June 2018 version.

We have compiled an overview of the changes made by the GPC update in a delta file. Please remember that atrify does not make any code adjustments or changes. Please check if your articles are affected by changes or deletions and send the change of these articles with new allocation as soon as possible after the change. We ask all data retrievers subscribing via GPC to check whether it is necessary to adjust their criteria in order to narrow down the desired articles even after the update.

If you want to download the GPC as english language files, you can find them on the GPC website of gs1.org under GPC Translations. To do so, go to "English" in the table and select the latest version (Jun 2018) under Downloads. You will then be asked to enter your name, email address and company and will receive a link via email to download the zip file of the German translation. The original English version can be downloaded under the link https://www.gs1.org/standards/gpc/jun-2018.

 

Restriction of the reduced code list Degree of occurrence for target market Switzerland

(added to Release Notes on 6 November 2018)
The code UNDECLARED has been removed from the reduced code list Degree of occurrence [M024, M026, M028, M030, M042 and M097] for the Swiss target market. Furthermore, the code FREE_FROM has been removed from the reduced code list Degree of Occurrence for allergens [M030].

 

Revision of AGRO profile

Release 6.11 implements the requirements of Web UI / Publishing users for the AGRO profile.

Unused attributes are removed:

  • Deletion date (time) [M003]
  • Date (time) of publication [M007].
  • Data medium: code of the type [M021].
  • RFID on packaging [M022]
  • Number of complete layers of the article (GTIN pallet) [M294].
  • Case Level Non GTIN: Depth / Unit of measurement [M298].
  • Case Level Non GTIN: width / unit of measurement [M299].
  • Description of the article group [M319].
  • Code of the article group [M320].
  • Gross volume / unit of measurement [M1024].
  • Unsuitable extinguishing media [M1085].
  • No longer in industrial distribution [M1086]

Change of the hierarchy level from ALL to new only base article (lowest level):

  • Brief description [M1012]

Replacement in the UI:

  • Formulation type [M1030]: Move to tab Physical & chemical properties => after/below storage class
  • Packaging: Disposal [M1113]: Move to tab Packaging => under Packaging Reusable marking
  • Active ingredient specification with active ingredient content [M1116]: Move to tab Physical & chemical properties => after/below formulation type
