Important information – for data receipients

  • The release contains changes for all D-A-CH community profiles.
  • A Reload of already received data is NOT necessary after the release.
  • We recommend that all changes to the release be implemented in your interfaces and internal systems in order to maintain complete and correct data records in the future, as well.
  • The XML interface description for the D-A-CH community is available in the Download Center.

 

Important information – for data suppliers

  • The release contains changes for all D-A-CH community profiles.
  • All data in the data pool remain valid -a migration of already sent data is not required.
  • If you are supplying your data machine-to-machine (M2M), we recommend that you use the XML release notes in the XML interface description for the D-A-CH community to check whether and what changes are to be made in your interfaces and internal systems to be able to provide complete and accurate data in the future. This applies in particular to suppliers who want to provide the Registration number packaging register [M487] for FMCG DE and DIY DE to their trading partners.

 

Release Details

Changes of Data Quality Gate (DQG) rules of DQG Standards 2.0 – 2.6 (only DE)

With Release 6.12, changes and improvements of already implemented rules of the Standards 2.0 – 2.6 will be deployed. Temporarily deactivated rules will thereby be re-activated.

All DQG rules are listed in the Profiles Overview document. The tab “DE_AT_CH Community Validations” will be updated with the Go live of the release and will than also contain all changed and re-activated DQG rules of this release. The updated Profiles Overview will be available for Download at the end of week 50.

 

New attribute

Registration number packaging register [M487] (FMCG DE and DIY DE)
Note: If you have a preliminary registration number (ends with -V) please only capture the actuall 15 digits registration number (without the -V at the end).

 

Requirements and changes with Release 6.12

  • Regulation type code [M250]: Code FOOD_INFORMATION_REGULATION is added to restricted code list. (FMCG DE & CH)
  • Nutritional content information: value / UOM [M059]: Unit of measure is now restricted to grams (GRM) as requested by the regulation (EU) no 1169/2011. (FMCG DE, AT and CH, B2C AT)

Note: If you have items which have another unit of measurement than grams (GRM) for Nutritional content information: value / UOM [M059] (= big-7), please correct the data. Other unit of measurements than gram for the big-7 will lead to an error starting from this release!

  • Nutrient basis quantity / UOM [M072]: New validation. Whenever nutritional information is populated per portion (1 PTN), Serving size: Value / UOM [M075] and/or Serving size description / Language [M074] need to be populated, too. (FMCG DE, FMCG AT & B2C AT)
  • Organic product: Country of origin – farming [M163]: new validation for invalid codes 097 – EUROPEAN UNION and NON_EU – COUNTRY THAT IS NOT IN THE EUROPEAN UNION. (FMCG DE & AT)

 

Solved Tickes (Bug Fixes)

Ticket – Class of medical device [M486]: Implement dependency from Regulation type code [M250] (FMCG DE and CH)
Validation was only implemented for FMCG AT, is now enhanced and runs for FMCG DE and CH, as well.

Ticket – Precautionary statement Code [M216] and its description [M214]: Correction of dependencies (FMCG DE, AT, DIY DE & AGRO DE)
Details see code list and history of changes in the Profiles Overview.

Ticket – Minimum weight of animal being fed / UOM [M442] and Maximum weight of animal being fed / UOM [M443]: Code MC – Microgram needs to be removed from code list (FMCG DE, AT and CH)

Ticket – Packaging marked label accreditation code [M309]: blanks to be removed from codes (FMCG DE, AT, CH, B2C AT and DIY DE)
Some new BMS 3.1.7 (November Release 6.11) PackagingMarkedLabelAccreditationCode codes were erroneously specified with blanks by GDSN. Errata has been posted by GDSN. Blanks are removed from codes (details see code list and history of changes in the Profiles Overview).

Ticket – Convenience level [%] [M033] erroneously shown on UI for target market AT.
The attribute is not part of target market AT profile and is now hidden, again.

Ticket TSE-1959 – ADR Tunnel restriction code [M195] allows codes that are not specified for FMCG (FMCG DE, CH, DIY DE & AGRO DE)
Implemented code list restriction.

 

Known Issues

Ticket CR-1557 – Precautionary statement Code [M216] and its description [M214]: Correction of dependencies (FMCG CH)

Is there any need for action?

Both as Web UI/ Publishing and as a machine-to-machine/M2M user, you need to take action if you want to use the new attribute. Please also check whether your items are affected by the new and changed validations and dependencies and correct your items if necessary. A detailed list of all changes and further information can be found in our documentation in the Download Center on our website.
