Cologne, 01 July 2021. Today, the starting signal was given for the Competence Centre Data Quality of GS1 Germany.
The goal is to work together with industry and trade to address the issues of data quality even more strongly and holistically. With the data quality service GS1 DQX, there is already a jointly developed solution that checks product master data for completeness, correctness and consistency, which will now continue to be fully operated by the Competence Centre Data Quality, among others. At the same time, the data collection services of Smart Data One GmbH will be transferred to the portfolio of atrify GmbH, so that Smart Data One GmbH will be dissolved on 1 July 2021.
"The foundation of the Data Quality Competence Centre and the resulting transfer of Smart Data One to GS1 Germany and atrify, bundles the competences and is the right step to further drive the important topic of data quality on the GS1 platform together with the community," says Thomas Fell, Lead GS1 Germany.
