The atrify team congratulates Philipp Freese on the successful completion of his training

21 Sep 2020

Only recently, Philipp successfully completed his training as a systems integration merchant by passing his final exams at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Three years ago he started
his training at atrify. We are very pleased about the fact that Philipp will continue to work for us in a permanent position in the Operations department after his training.
can.
We congratulate Philipp warmly on completing his training. We took the opportunity to review his training together with Philipp and asked him to describe his experiences from the last years in more detail.

Congratulations on passing the training, Philipp! How would you describe the experiences you gained during your training with us?
Philipp Freese (PF): The training at atrify was very extensive. I got to know many areas and at the end of my apprenticeship I even had the choice in which area I would potentially want to work after my apprenticeship if I was taken on. I had the opportunity to get to know the different departments and working methods, which I enjoyed very much.
What did you like best about your education?
PF: I have to say that the training was great throughout. Our stay in Chicago was very exceptional and I had never expected such an opportunity. It was definitely a highlight for me. But in general I find it difficult to decide what I liked best, because I can only say positive things about the whole training.
How was your training structured?
PF: I got to know the following areas during my training: Operations, Internal IT, Marketing and Administration. In the first year of apprenticeship I had vocational school twice a week, in the second year once and in the third year of apprenticeship I again had two days of vocational school. I got to know a wide range of tasks during my training.
How'd you like vocational school?
PF: I liked the vocational school in itself. I was lucky with my class, because we all got along very well. The last year was a bit shorter due to the corona situation, but that also worked out quite well.
What was your final exam made of?
PF: My final exam consisted of a practical part, which was a project from the company (workload 35 hours). The project was then questioned during the oral exam. In addition, a written exam was taken. The written part consisted of three exams (holistic tasks from the corresponding professional field, tasks in the environment of system integration and WISO - Economy and Social Affairs).
Did you always feel that you were adequately supported by the company during your training?
PF: Even more than that. Benjamin has always looked after me very well, as well as the team leaders from the other areas. You were always supported and you could always count on the help of your colleagues. In addition, I was offered an exam preparation course, which I thankfully accepted.
Is there someone in the company who has given you special support?
PF: Benjamin, Corinna and Peter have been especially supportive. But also the other colleagues. The atmosphere is great and you just feel comfortable.
